きっかけは、ハッジでした。

It was Hajj that brought me to this job.

 

素晴らしい毎日。でも、時差ボケや疲れから、ついにはミナのテントでダウン。

その時、香港から来たハッジ団の一人に中医師がいました。若く、可愛らしい女医が、ポケットから取り出した鍼でズバズバと治療してくれました。朦朧とする頭で、「これしかない」と思ったのがきっかけです。薬も大型治療器具もない中で、多くの女性達を癒していく姿に憧れ、残りの人生、鍼灸で直体的に人の助けになりたい、と思いました。

それまでは、全く別の人生を歩んできました。ムスリム前も入れると、それこそ全く別の。そのお話は、またいずれ治療の際にでも。

Beautiful days in Hajj.  But I couldn't move finally in the tent of Mina due to jet lag and tiredness.  At the time there was a Chinese doctor from Hong Kong.  Young and sweet lady took out needles from her pocket and gave acupuncture therapy. In foggy mind, I was thinking "I must do this".  With no medicine no giant medical machines, she treated many women pilgrimages.  I decided for the rest of my life to help people in this direct way taking acupuncture as tools.

Before becoming a muslim I was in a completely different life doing different things.  We may have a chance to talk about such histories at the clinic.

 

「らはま」はアラビア語で恵みを意味します。私の名前、千恵からも取りました。鍼灸治療を通して私達を取り囲む「らはま：恵み」に感謝できるように、お手伝いします。

"Rahma" means blessing in Arabic.  My name Chie means one thousands of blessing Rahma.  Through my treatment may you realize and appreciate Rahma, blessings around you.  I would like to help you for that.
